Corinna, Maine - Charles "Chuck" Phillip Cossar, 57, of Corinna, Maine, passed away on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his family. Chuck was born on May 15, 1968, to Phillip and Georgetta (Hathaway) Cossar.

He grew up and lived most of his life in the small town of Corinna, Maine. He attended Nokomis Regional High School, embodying the true spirit of small-town pride. In his youth, Chuck loved playing sports and being part of a team, most of which his father coached. This was a passion that carried into adulthood, where he could often be found on the field or court playing adult softball and basketball. Many knew Chuck through his dedicated service as a volunteer firefighter with the Corinna Fire Department. He took immense pride in this role and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Chuck devoted much of his life to serving the citizens of Corinna and the surrounding towns. He especially enjoyed community events like Corinna Days, local parades, and the annual Hunters Breakfast - which won't be quite the same without him.

Chuck is survived by his loving mother, Georgetta; his two children, Chandler and Isabella; and his life partner, Lisa. Family was at the heart of everything Chuck did. He also deeply cherished Lisa's children, Ashleigh, Ryan, and Shannon, and celebrated them as his own. He was predeceased by his father, Phillip Cossar, who proudly served alongside him on the Corinna Fire Department for many years.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Corinna Fire Department - a cause Chuck cared for deeply and served with honor.
