Columbia, Maine - Charlene L. (Worcester) Ramsdell, passed away on May 15, 2025, at home surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

Charlene worked for many years as a "lunch lady" cooking at NJSHS from 1982 to 2016. Charlene loved to cook, creating many beautiful cakes throughout the years, quilting and making cloths, loved to oil paint and draw. She was always up for a gathering and was always the first ready to hit the trails for a weekend sidexside ride. Charlene loved to hear the phone ring, she spent countless hours on the phone line keeping up with all the goings on.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 56 years, Barry Ramsdell of Columbia; a son, Kevin Ramsdell with wife, Sheila Wallace of Milbridge, their children, Jenna and Garrett Ramsdell and Cody Leighton; son-in-law, Steve Jordan of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and his children, Steven Jordan Jr. with wife, Heather, Stephanie Dodd with husband, Jason, Sarah Jordan, and Cody Jordan; eight great-grandchildren, Lillyanna which has been raised as a "daughter," Brice, Abel, Kristopher, Timmothy, Kenzie, Maddison, Lillian and Penelope; and many siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Charlene was predeceased by her parents Orrin and Glenis (Grant) Worcester; daughter, Regina (Ramsdell) Jordan; and granddaughter, Kayla Jordan.

A graveside service will be held at Columbia Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Columbia, ME, on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 3 p.m. with Cody W. Leighton officiating, per Charlene's request.
