We wanted to thank all of you for sharing your love and memories of Bruce. He was a tough young man.We always hoped he would come home. Hopefully the Sheriff's Office of Jacksonville Florida will be better trained concerning mental Illness. They would have went far if they would have tried talking to Bruce.Strange today how they grab for the Gun immediately rather then other means of dealing with him. Our hearts will hurt for ever for Bruce thinking how his last minutes were alive. Thanks to you all.

So sorry you were out there alone Bruce. I always feared that someone would hurt you but you were always the brave young man we knew. You were so inventive with making a bicycle with a cart to haul your stuff around. I'm so sorry the stupid Cop had to shoot first without talking to you to see who you were as a person. If I would have thought you would have been taking from us this way I would have come and got you my beautiful Boy. I Love you Brucey Dad
