Houlton, Maine - Brenda "Polly" (Savage) Albert, 90, passed away after a short illness on June 23, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1936, in St. Francis, Maine, to parents Percy and Theresa Savage.

Polly is survived by her daughter, Deborah Smith of Castle Hill, Maine; four grandchildren, Jamie Smith of Troy, Maine, Nichole Smith of Blaine, Ashlee Albert of Presque Isle, and Kelsey Anderson of Eddington; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bob Savage and Ben Savage. She was predeceased by her two sons, Daniel Albert and Thomas Albert; her husband, Camille Albert; her parents; a sister, Dawn Levesque; and a brother, Carl Savage.

Polly was a force of wonder. She was a woman of integrity, kindness, and resilience, sure of heart. She was a full-time mother for many years. She worked at Gouldville School as an educational technician for many years, and then managed and operated an apartment house in Old Orchard Beach for many years while bringing up her family. She taught Sunday School, was a Girl Scout leader, and ran a thrift store at St. Catherine's Church. Through her religious beliefs, she propelled herself forward after the loss of her husband and two sons. I'm proud to have been her daughter.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or celebration of life following the Mass. The family funeral will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Washburn, interment will take place at Riverside Ext. Cemetery in Washburn, immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Wintergreen Arts Center, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
