Orono, Maine - Bonnie Cohen, a resident of Orono Maine, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; and her brother, Dick Drysdale of Fairfield, ME.
Bonnie and Paul have lived in Maine for the last twenty-five years, and for the last seven years, at Dirigo Pines in Orono. Bonnie Joyce Drysdale grew up in Edison, New Jersey. She graduated from Douglas College with a BA in English literature and taught high school English before attending the University of Indiana for an MA degree. Subsequently she did additional graduate work at the University of Tennessee, where she met Paul. Subsequently, Bonnie was a writer, for several years in corporate settings, but also for several newspapers and newsletters. As a hobby, she also did oil paintings.
