Beverly Arlene Sanford Obituary
Carmel, Maine - Beverly Arlene Sanford passed away on September 4th, 2020, peacefully at her home in Carmel, surrounded by family and loved ones. Bev was born on August 14th, 1943, and was the daughter of Alice and Arthur Crockett.
Over the years she had several professions including being a Nurse and Animal Control Officer, but among her most favorite was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Beverly loved to watch her Christian programs and the Hallmark channel. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking and cooking, crafting, reading her bible, chatting on her telephone, doing various volunteer work, and spending time with her beloved cats: Munchkin, Cocoa, and Abby.
Bev was incredibly funny and witty. She had the most contagious laugh and a smile that could brighten up the darkest room. Beverly loved to help others and devoted the majority of her time doing just that. She was one of the kindest and most caring people you would ever meet. Beverly was a great friend to many and will be missed very much.
Beverly is survived by her brother, Dale Crockett; her sons, Stephen and Jerome Sanford; her daughters, Lisa Lasante, Naomi Sheppard, Anne Guyette, and Donna Guyette; and many grandchildren who she loved dearly. She had one granddaughter, Tiara Wilson, with whom she shared a very special bond.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Jennifer Crews for her loving care of Beverly.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Carolyn; her husband, George; and her sister, Thelma.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10th at 10:30 AM at Songo Pond Cemetery in Albany Township. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris.
