Bradford - Beulah O'Neal DeWitt passed away at her home in Bradford, Maine on April 18, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bingham, Maine she was the daughter of Hazel and Harold O'Neal. She was predeceased by her husband Walter P. DeWitt, and brothers Willis O'Neal and Harold (Mervin) O'Neal. She is survived by a sister Christine Tobin of Wilmington, N.C., Sister-in-Law Pearl O'Neal of Bakersfield, CA, daughters Patricia Billings (David) of Bradford, Louise Byron (Terrence) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Gale Acabbo (John) of Charleston, and son Dale DeWitt Sr (Lucille) of Beaver Cove, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. During her life she made her home in Bradford, Maine, Stratford, Huntington, Milford, and Oxford Connecticut before returning to Bradford for her retirement. Beulah enjoyed buying and selling antiques in Connecticut and Maine under the business, Pack Rats. Beulah was also an avid quilter and loved making quilts for her entire family, friends and charities and so much enjoyed her weekly get togethers with her wonderful friends at Pleasant River Quilters in Brownville. Beulah was known by many to have the best home style cooking in Maine, especially her biscuits. At her request there will not be a wake and funeral. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery, Bradford at a future date.
