Alton, Maine - Avis J. (Feero) Babb, 85, of Alton, ME, died February 7, 2026 at home. She was born on February 23, 1940, to Harry J. Feero and Doris C. Feero (Smith) Alton, ME.
Avis graduated from Old Town High School in 1958. She married Wilbur V. Babb Jr. on August 10, 1958. They had 4 children, Ronald Babb, Wilbur V. Babb III, Cynthia Therrien, and Beth Hodgdon.
Avis is survived by her son, Wilbur V. Babb III; daughters, Cynthia Therrien (David) and Beth Hodgdon (David); grandchildren, Ryan Therrien, Justin Therrien, Darrick Hodgdon, and Sarah Mayhew; as well as several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur V. Babb Jr.; and son, Ronald Babb.
