Ashley Marie Falanka
Patten - Ashley Marie Falanka, 19, passed away suddenly May 12th, 2019 in Machias Maine. Ashley was born at Fort Irwin Army Base in CA, December 20th, 1999. Beloved daughter of Anthony A. Falanka of Augusta, Laura M. Chicoine of Patten. Loving sister of Alyssa Falanka of Orient, Jaiden Locke of Buxton and Katerina Falanka of Augusta and dear step-daughter of Michelle Patterson of Augusta and Cody Brackett of Patten.

Ashley graduated from Katahdin High School in 2018 and had just completed her first semester at University Maine Machias, majoring in Psychology and Community Studies. Ashley was born with a smile that could light up a room, a laugh that would change your whole day around and a heart so big that everyone who met could never forget her.

She was predeceased by her loving grandparents William & Mae McCaffrey and Richard Giglio.

She was survived by her grandparents Marie Giglio of Patten, Anett Brewer of Mt. Chase, Anthony Falanka of Port Chester NY; many aunts and uncles Corissa and Jason Stowell of Glenburn, Joseph and Lyndsay Lord of Bucksport, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Falanka of Port Chester NY, Mr. & Mrs. Peter Hylenski of Danbury CT, Mr. & Mrs. William McCaffrey Mount Chase, Mr & Mrs. Michael McCaffrey of Westbrook, Mr. Steven McCaffrey of Bangor, Ms. Elizabeth Gregory of Patten, Mr. Alfred Gregory of Augusta, Ms. Theresa Gregory of AZ, Cynthia & Damion Hanson of Patten; a several cousin including Osiris Stowell of Glenburn; a cherished nephew Fritz Bartlett of Orient, and so many friends and loved ones who will miss her so dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8th, 2019 at Noon, in Mt. Chase located at the Shin Pond Village Pavilion.
