Losing Arlene has been hard to deal with. She is the first aunt in the family, to leave us. Makes me realize just how old we are becoming. (And my body reminds me daily of my limitations.) But we carry on.

Thank you all for such a wonderful gathering to remember Arlene. It couldn’t have been any better. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere personal. The family and friends gathered casually is just what I think Arlene would have wanted. Thank you, Rick and Dawn for hosting. It was a very therapeutic day. I enjoyed seeing you all and reconnecting with each one.

I’m praying that you feel comforted and receive strength as you continue to grieve. Love you all dearly.
