Fort Kent and Wallagrass - Arlene 'Taline' Pelletier Pinette, 81, died peacefully September 18, 2017 at a Fort Kent long-term care facility surrounded by members of her family. She was born March 7, 1936, the daughter of Fortunat and Exzeir (Michaud) Pelletier. Taline worked for S.A.D. #27 for several years. She was the wife of the late Norman "Bebe" Pinette.
She is survived by her eight children, Calvin and (Lise) Pinette, Brenda and (Fabien) Pelletier, Peter and (Sandra) Pinette, Leland and (Patricia) Pinette, Thomas Pinette, Ryan Pinette, Patty Pinette, Marcus and (Robin) Pinette; eight grandchildren, Kate, Dustin, Marc, Tyler, Adam, Kara, Amanda and Lillian; three great-grandchildren; Kayla, Logan and Trinity Lynn; two brothers, Milton and Earland Pelletier; two sisters, Iva and Darlene, and many nieces, nephews and loved ones, as well as by her furry friends Marie, Blackie, and Brownie.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Norman "Bebe" Pinette in 2002, her siblings, Nathalie Chasse, Rena Johnson, Franklin, Hervin, Reynold and Roland Pelletier.
Friends may call Monday, September 25, 2017 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Wallagrass. Those who wish in Taline's memory may donate to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
