She grew up in the Perham area and attended local schools there. Amber was married to Clifford Victor Tarr and they started a family together. She was a long time member of Perham Baptist Church before moving to Lisbon, to be closer to her daughter after her retirement. She was an active member of Lisbon Falls Baptist Church and loved her church family. Amber was a very hard working woman and very self sufficient after becoming a young widow. Amber is survived by her only daughter, Leann Cielinski and husband, Robert, of Lisbon Falls; her son, Glen Tarr and wife, Lorraine, of Holden; and daughter-in-law, Betty Tarr of Fisher, Illinois. Amber loved hearing about her grandchildren, Monica, Thomas, Troy, Teresa, Stanley, Kerry, Janine and Eric; and her great-grandchildren, Brody, Brent, Clayton, Ruby, Jared, Joshua, Chase, Nicholas, Rachel, Emily, Caleb, Taylor and Kaileigh. She had one great-great-granddaughter, Lila. Amber is survived by her younger sister, Anita Tarr, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Clifford, in 1962; her sister, Doris McBrieairty; her brother, Marvin Dickinson; and her firstborn son, Gary, in 2012.
