Fairfax, Virginia - Aldric Saucier, a member of the scientific community, passed away on December 8, 2016 at the age of 80. Mr. Saucier was a former resident of Fort Fairfield, Maine. Mr. Saucier was known in the scientific community as an imaginative leading scientific technologist and an innovator of new concepts and ideas across the spectrum of different technologies; including the Ballistic Missile Defense Ground based free electron laser in 1983 and the Star Wars Program in 1991. He worked as a team leader in the Saturn/Apollo project that placed man on the moon with Apollo 11 in 1969. Mr. Saucier also served as a navigator in the Army Air Corps. Final arrangements for Mr. Saucier to remain private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local charity.
