Saco, Maine - Alan Michelson, son of Helen and Gilbert Michelson, passed away on May 30, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He is remembered by his wife, Barbara; his son, Gabe and his wife, Mariya; and three grandchildren, Finley, Mila, and Elia, who brought him immense joy. He leaves behind his sister, Golda; and brother, Stanley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mindy.

Born in Bangor, Maine, Al had a passion for running/walking and staying active. You could guarantee to see him walking the back roads with his beloved dogs, Jamie and Skylar. He was a devoted Boston Celtics fan, cherished his time spent in Hawaii, and above all he valued time spent with his family and his dogs. Al was known for his strong work ethic, where he dedicated many years of service at South Street Market, earning the respect and friendship of many. He will be remembered for his kindness, determination, sense of humor, and the many lives he touched along the way.
