Yvonne's Story

BRADLEY - Yvonne Cecilia (Latno) Lyons, 93, of Bradley, ME passed away peacefully on May 16th 2015 at Orono Commons Nursing Home surrounded by loving members of her family. Yvonne Lyons, daughter of Marion and Louis LaBree, was born on 10/12/1921 in Old Town, ME.

She was a devoted member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bradley and found comfort in reciting the rosary daily. Her interests included family, cooking, gardening, and needlework. One of her greatest joys was crocheting items for her family members and friends. She devoted much of her time and energy into caring for others. Cooking for her family was one of her greatest pleasures. Her Sunday chicken dinners were a family tradition and there was always room at her table for unexpected quests. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Patricia Lozier of Nashua, NH, Pamela & Daniel Linton of Pocomoke, MD and Raymond & Laurie Latno of Derry, NH. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and their spouses Paul Lozier Jr, Gayle Lozier, Daniel Linton Jr, Denise & Chris Southern, Darrell & Patricia Linton, Darren & Kimberly Linton, and seven great grandchildren, Justin Lozier, Spencer Linton, Sara Linton, Summer Linton, Hailey Southern, Garrett Southern and Camryn Linton. Yvonne was also blessed by the help and support of sister-in-law Hester LaBree, nephew Bernard LaBree and his wife Loretta, and cousins Mary & Martha Latno, as well as other nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husbands, Raymond A Latno (1975), with whom she had three children and her second husband, Harrison Lyons (2008). She is also predeceased by her five siblings, Almond LaBree, Leon "Pat" LaBree, Rosalie McCloud, Clement LaBree and Margarite Lebreton. Yvonne is also predeceased by her son-in-law, Paul Lozier Sr.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 21, from 5-7pm at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday, May 22th at St. Ann's Church Bradley. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
