William's Story

MEDWAY - William P. Kimball, 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home. He was born May 25, 1940 in Medway, the son of Elmer and Margaret (Lee) Kimball.

Bill was a truck driver for all his life, and also owned Kimball's Wrecker Service from 1987 until 1999. He absolutely loved driving trucks and talked about it often with anyone who would listen. Bill loved his family, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He loved and missed his wife, Emilia, more than anything, and is finally reunited with her.

He is survived by his children; Monica Goodrow and her husband John, Billy Kimball and his wife Sherri, Maryann Burleigh and husband Paul and Brandy Kimball; 12 grandchildren, Dalton Kimball, Chelsea Goodrow, Jada Kimball, Maxamus Burleigh, Taylor Kimball, Nakissa Burleigh, Alexis Goodrow, Jonathan Goodrow, Gage Hale, Gavin Hale, Brad Barker, and Melissa Barker; a sister, Dixie LaMarre of Bristol, Connecticut; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill will also be missed by a very close and dear friend, Roland Cote. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his wife, Emilia (Zeleniak) Kimball, and two brothers, Edward John Kimball and Stephen G. Kimball.

Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. Friday, January 23 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket with the Rev. Regginal Adams, pastor, officiating. Gifts in memory of Bill may be sent to help defray funeral expenses to an account set up in Bill's name at Bangor Savings Bank, 87 Main St., East Millinocket, ME 04430.
