LINCOLN - William Henry Drisko, 89, husband of Carolyn (Worcester) Drisko, passed away April 29, 2015, at his home. He was born May 17, 1925, in Bangor, the son of Clarence Holmes Drisko and Myra Mabel (Morris) Drisko.
William was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1943. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He earned a Master's degree in forestry at the University of Maine and worked many years as a forester for Great Northern Paper Company. He was a member of the American Association of Foresters.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by two children, William Stephen Drisko and his wife, Kelley, of Augusta and Myra Mabel Whorton and her husband, Charles, of Ellsworth; an "adopted daughter," Michelle Richards of Holden; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his oldest daughter, Charlene.
