Wayne's Story

EDDINGTON - Wayne C. Kimball, 75, of Eddington, was called home by the Lord on February 12, 2015 while surrounded by his loved ones.

Wayne graduated from Bangor High School in 1958. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and served his country with pride and honor.

Wayne leaves behind a loving wife of 52 years, Shirley (Lawson) Kimball; two sons, Ricky Kimball of Dover, NH and Bruce Kimball and his wife, Tammy of Milford; three daughters, Sherry Foss and her husband Joseph of Bangor, Sandra Adams and her husband, Scott of Hermon, Vicky Curtis of Winterport and her fiancé, Troy Lary. He is also survived by three brothers, Eddie Bickford of NH, Wallace Kimball, Jr. and his wife, Gayle of Veazie, and Thomas Kimball of Eddington; three sisters, Juanita Carter and her husband, Don of Hancock, Sharon Rinaldi and her husband, John of Surry and Lorrie Richard and her husband, Gary of Guilford. Wayne was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Muriel Kimball of Eddington and his sister, Viola Bridges of Bangor.

The family invites relatives and friends to call 1-2pm, Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St. Brewer, where a funeral service will be held at 2 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to share in conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Rooms of the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, immediately following the service.
