OLD TOWN AND OLAMON - Vivian M Boutin, 87, passed away on October 18, 2014 at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. Born on February 18, 1927 in Bangor. She was the daughter of Albert and Sadie Muldune of Bangor. She married her first husband Wesley Eldridge, and had 4 children. She later married Wilfred Boutin, of Cambridge, MA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.
Vivian worked at Doug's Shop N Save for 23 years. In her retirement, she traveled extensively across the United States visiting her family. She was a member of Olamon Faith Bible Church.
She is survived by three children Sharon Porter and her husband Reginald of Patten, Bonnie Garceau of Cardville, Nancy Bouchard and her husband Jack of Passadumkeag, daughter-in-law Francis Eldridge of Bangor; Two sisters Lillian Anderson and Shirley Hall of Brewer; grandchildren Timothy and Shawna Bouchard , Michelle Russell, Shannon and Phillip Smith, Reginald Porter Jr., Sean Garceau, Jennifer Benn, Nathan Bouchard, Chad and Staci Garceau, Amber and Mark Richards, Bobbi Jean and Mara Garceau; twenty great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; close friends Connie St. Louis, Charlotte McPheters and Beryl Smith.
She was pre-deceased by husband Wesley Eldridge, husband Wilfred Boutin, son William Eldridge, son- in-law Robert Garceau and grandchild James Bouchard.
The family would like to thank the Maine Veterans Home for all the care and compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Maine Veterans Home of Bangor.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 1 P.M. Wednesday the 22nd at the Olamon Cemetery.
