MONSON - Tony Pratt, 60, passed away on April 20, 2016, in Andover, Mass. He was born on Nov. 26, 1955, in Dover-Foxcroft. He lived in Monson most of his life, where he had many friends.
Tony worked for 20 years at Scott Paper Co., where he was a heavy equipment operator and woodsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoors. He had many special memories fishing with his friends and his family in his many "secret" fishing holes.
Tony was a very kind hearted man and a good friend, who never hesitated to help others. Some of the many things Tony was known for were, his infectious smile, bright blue eyes and his contagious laugh. Tony had seemingly magical fishing skills, always catching the biggest and most fish on every fishing trip.
He was predeceased by his father, Philip Pratt of Monson; and a very special friends, Barry Church and Jeff Kelley of Monson. He is survived by his mother, Althea Pratt of Frostburg, Md.; his former wife and friend, Belinda Crouse of Sangerville; his daughter, Angela and her husband, Gabriel Gore, of Appleton; and a very special granddaughter, Nataleann, who is following in grampy's footsteps with her love of fishing and the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held noon Saturday, May 14, at the home of special friends, Rick and Nancy Kelley, 446 Elliotsville Rd., Monson.
