GARLAND - Tinna L. Hebert, 48, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 30, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident in Garland. Tinna was born in Hartford, Conn., May 2, 1967, the daughter of Freemont and Sherrill (London) Tozier.
She attended Nokomis Regional High School in Newport. For many years she took care of the elderly in their homes. Tinna loved the outdoors, especially while hunting, fishing, mud runs and having huge bonfires - the bigger the better.
She is survived by her husband, Jean D. Hebert of Garland; her father, Freemont L. Tozier of Belfast; her mother, Sherrill A. Burdin of Garland; her stepmother, Loretta Reynolds of Oregon; three sons, who loved her and will be missed by, Christopher Tozier of Dexter, Brad Champluvier of Garland and Michael Champluvier of LeGrange, six stepchildren; five brothers, Charles Tozier of Bucksport, James Tozier of Garland, Richard Morton of PA, Sidney Scott of Palmyra and Robert Scott of Orland; five sisters, Jenny Costa of Bangor, Lola Powers of Arizona, Mary Hartt of Hartland, Katrina Morton of Presque Isle and Goldie Scott of Wellington; ten grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Josephine London; her sister, Sally; and a stepson.
A celebration of Tinna's life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service Center, 34 High Street, Newport, with the Rev. Rick Parker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the start of the services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Crowell Cemetery, Exeter, Maine.
