Theresa's Story

FORT KENT - Theresa (Dubois) Ouellette, 86, died peacefully November 28, 2015, at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. She was born April 19, 1929, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Paul and Laura (Babin) Dubois.

Theresa was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Wallagrass, Fort Kent VFW Lozier O'Grady Post # 9609. She was a devoted Catholic, she taught religion classes, was a past member of the church choir, Eucharistic Minister, and having completed her Cursillo. She enjoyed watching masses on TV, reading, and especially playing cards. She also enjoyed being with family and friends. Her grandchildren will miss her PBJ sandwiches.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Norma and Dick Voisine of Fort Kent, Gloria Gagnon and fiancé, Gary of Wallagrass, Nola and Francis McLaughlin of Unionville, Conn.; two sons and their wives, Gary and Marie Ouellette of Burlington, Conn., Dana and Tina Ouellette of Saco; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Landry of Conn. and Laurette Chasse of Grand Isle; and one brother, Paul Dubois of Van Buren.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Normand Ouellette; eight siblings, Alvey, Andre, Adrian, Bert, Alma, Emelda, Edna and Marie Mae.

Friends may call Monday, December 7, 2015, from 8 am until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
