Thelma's Story

GREENVILLE - Thelma Mary MacDonald, daughter of Daniel and Pearl (Lampher) Jardine, was

born on September 11, 1916 in Greenville, ME and departed this life on August 09,

2014, in her daughter's home, at the age of 97.

Thelma was a homemaker and had resided in the area during the winter months

with her daughter for many years. She just recently moved here becoming a

permanent resident. Thelma was of the Christian faith.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Pearl Jardine; husband, Walter MacDonald; one son, Alexander MacDonald; two brothers, Paul and Robert Jardine; three sisters, Hilda Whitney, Ruth Hamel, and Charolette


Survivors include: one son, Albert Macdonald of Hoffman Estates, IL; two

daughters, Kay Partridge of Clinton, MD and Shelba Woday of Kimberling City,

MO; nineteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; eight great, great

grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 in Our

Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, Kimberling City, MO with Father Suresh

Samala officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-

South, Kimberling City, MO.

Interment will take place at a later date in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn, Maine.
