LEWISTON - Taylor Robert Bishop, 27, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015, in Lewiston, Maine. Taylor battled long and hard to overcome serious medical issues, but in the end, could take the pain no more.
Taylor was born September 11, 1987, in Blue Hill, Maine. He lived in Penobscot most of his life and moved to Lewiston with his mom in 2010. Taylor lived life on his terms and was passionate about dirt biking, hoping one day to become a professional racer. He loved the Boston Bruins and the Red Sox, hunting and fishing. He was kind, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was tough as nails and had a smile that would light up a room. Taylor may be gone in his physical form, but will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Taylor is survived by his mother, Janet Allen, of Lewiston, Maine; his father, Tim Bishop and step-mother, Connie, of Bucksport, Maine; his sister, Elise Amico and her husband, Anthony, of Cumberland, Maine; his step-sister, Becca Harriman, and her husband, Marshall of Ellsworth, Maine; his step-brother, Mason Dunham of Bucksport, Maine; his nephew Cameron, nieces Avery and Lindsay, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents Robert and Jeanette Grindle.
Taylor's family would like to encourage donations to the Make A Wish Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House.
