- Tammy L. Hafford
October 31,1963-April 2, 2017.
Mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and soon to be grandmother, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in Norfolk, VA to Alden and Janice Lanpher. She was predeceased by her father and nephew Matthew. She leaves behind her treasured daughter Amy and son-in-law Josh, cherished mom and Uncle Jimmy Gallo, her loving siblings John Lanpher and family, Rita Richards and family, Teresa Davis and family, as well as Crystal Lanpher and her daughter. Many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and not to be forgotten, her beloved dog Tweak.
Tammy graduated from Penquis Valley High School in Milo, Maine. She had her Bachelor's degree in healthcare management but her true passion was being a nanny and caring for children. Tammy loved to make people happy and laugh. She was a jokester, like her dad. She never stopped dancing even when walking was difficult. She was a giver even when she was in need herself. Her strong, beautiful spirit was with her until the end.
She is so loved and will forever be remembered by many. May she rest in peace.
A gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate Tammy's life at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Saco, Maine on Sunday April 9th from 2:00-5:00.
"I hope you're dancing in the sky. I hope you're singing in the angel's choir. I hope the angels know what they have. I'll bet it's nice up in heaven since you've arrived." Dani and Lizzy.
