Steven's Story

WESLEY - Steven Edwin Roberts, Sr. died peacefully with his family around him at Down East Community Hospital in Machias, ME. He was born on October 22, 1952 in Cherryfield, ME, a son of the late Samuel Roberts and Mabel (Ouellete) Roberts of Wesley, ME. Steve was a long time truck driver and loved every minute of it. He was proud to help form the Wesley Volunteer Fire Department and served as a member on the Wesley Rescue and Ambulance Service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Steve would

describe his favorite moments as spending time with his precious grandchildren and spoiling them rotten.

Survivors include his wife, Julieanna Roberts of Wesley, ME; 1 son- Steven Roberts Jr. and wife, Tina of Alaska; 2 daughters- Katherine Andrews and companion, Mike Boynton of Saco, ME and Lee Ann Bourget of Wesley, ME; 3 grandchildren- Dylan Andrews, Mikaelah Bourget, and Mackenzie Bourget; a special ex son-in-law- Richard Andrews; 3 brother-in-laws; 1 sister-in-law; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steve was predeceased by his brother- Karl Roberts and his father- Samuel Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Steve to the American Lung Association in Maine 122 State Street Augusta, ME 04330.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were made by Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home in Machias, ME.
