- Stan McKenzie of Oxford, FL, formally of Holden, ME, passed over to the other side at home March 27, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Bangor, ME, on April 16, 1951, Stan was chosen and adopted by Arthur E. McKenzie and Avis Brann McKenzie. He graduated from Bangor High School and owned and operated S. E. McKenzie Builder of Holden, ME, for many years until retiring to Florida.
Stan is survived by his loving wife Polly Perkins McKenzie, Oxford, FL, one son Ian McKenzie, Freeport, ME, one granddaughter Dayze Gaulin, Whitefield, ME, one sister Marylou McKenzie Jameson and husband James of Leesburg, FL, two daughters Emily Clark Poulin and husband Robby, Martensville, SK, Canada, Tami Clark Lane and husband David, Palm Bay, FL, five grandchildren Chanelle and Ryan Poulin and Brady, Aiden and Zoey Lane. Stan is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, and best friend Paul Parker of Bangor, ME. He was predeceased by his parents, an infant son Christopher McKenzie, and several Aunts, Uncles and a cousin.
Stan's wishes were to have no service, he wanted his ashes scattered at his favorite places in Florida and Maine.
