Sherry's Story

CARIBOU - Sherry Ann Nadeau Ouellette, 54, died October 7, 2014 at her Caribou residence with her family by her side. She was born in Caribou, May 13, 1960, the daughter of Henry and Doris (Pelletier) Nadeau.

Sherry was a 1980 graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was employed as a cook at Cary Medical Center for over 27 years and more recently was employed as a cook at Dysarts in Bangor.

Sherry was predeceased by her father, Henry. Surviving in addition to her mother, Doris of Caribou are one son, Michael J.L. Ouellette of Caribou, two daughters, Ashley Lavoie and her husband, Ryan of Gardiner and Alicia Ouellette and her fiancé, Ben Dorr of Caribou. One brother, Andy Nadeau and his wife, Laura of Charlotte, N.C. Two sisters; Tammy Nadeau and husband, Glen of Caribou and Lory Dube and husband, Wayne of Hermon. Her former husband, Peter Ouellette of Caribou. Two grandchildren; Peyton Lavoie and Ben Dorr. Her significant other, Greg Theriault. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Sherry's cousin, Fr. James Nadeau, officiating. Following the service all are invited to meet with the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish center. Interment will follow in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
