Scott's Story

MILBRIDGE - Scott C. Jellison beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend was taken from this world at the young age of 49 on December 19, 2015. Scott was the son of Lynesta Cousins Jellison and the late Edward Jellison of Sullivan.

Scott had made a lifelong career as part of the Napa family and was manager of the Milbridge store. He fulfilled his dream of attending the National Napa Conference in Las Vegas this past spring with his wife Michelle, brother Edward and many of his Napa colleagues thanks to Faye and Patti Boles. Scott enjoyed the summers at Parks Pond Campground, atving with his family and friends and most importantly spending time with, and raising the apples of his eyes, daughters Brynn and Myah Jellison. Scott was a member of the David Hooper Masonic Lodge in Sullivan for 27 years.

Scott is survived by his wife Michelle (Joy) Jellison; daughters Brynn and Myah Jellison and their mom Nichole Jamison; stepson Patrick Pinkham and special niece Ava Kidder; brother Edward Jellison and fiancé Debbie Austin; sisters Jeri White and husband Ken and Bobbi Jo St. Germain and husband William; father and mother-in-law Murray and Sylvia Joy; brother-in-law Duane Joy and wife Lori; Uncle Robert Johnson, special cousins Alex Forni and Roberta Geramita; many cousins, nieces and nephews; his lifelong best friend LC Davis and wife Jennie; and "the boys" at Milbridge Napa. He was predeceased by his aunt Nancy Johnson.

Visiting hours will be held 2 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home in Milbridge. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan on Monday, Dec. 28, at 10:00 a.m. A private committal service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Scott's memory to benefit Sumner Memorial High School basketball program or Narraguagus High School softball and volleyball programs.
