Sandra's Story

BANGOR - Sandra Preble joined her beloved mother and father on September 15, 2014. She was born in Milo to Irving and Mildred (Carpenter) Preble on April 13, 1937.

Sandra was blessed with an uncommon wit that endeared her to everyone she met. She enjoyed knitting, shopping, crafts, and collecting jewelry. She will be remembered by many for her locally- famous dishcloths that she would give away or sometimes sell to "her customers". In the past, she had also attended the Ralph Leek Elder program. Sandra's favorite song was "Jesus Loves Me". Yes, Sandra, he does.

She was predeceased by her brother Victor, and sisters Anna and Joyce. She is survived by a brother, Ralph, his wife Marion, and nieces Nancy, Joyce, and Gail all of CT, Ruth and Judy, as well as nephews Tim and Russell. She is also survived by her Guardian and dear friend, Denis Cranson. Special thanks to the caring staff at Branches who recently became Sandra's new friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 1:30 PM at Kiley-Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. Family and friends are invited to visit from 12:30 PM until the service. Interment will follow in Milo.
