Sally's Story

STETSON - Sally J. Harriman, 69, died unexpectedly Oct. 20, 2015 at her home following a long period of ill health.

She was born in Waterville June 23, 1946 the daughter of Hiram and Virginia (Marsh) Springer.

Sally was employed for many years at Penobscot Cleaning as a "cleaning lady."

Sally enjoyed camping and fishing. She also enjoyed doing cross word puzzles.

She is survived by her husband Wendell Harriman of Stetson, a son and his wife, Brad and Lisa Smith of Watertown , N.Y., a daughter and her husband, Terry and Stacey Look-Moomaw of Mount Jackson, Virginia, two step-sons and their wives, Wendell and Michelle Harriman II of Brewer, Chris and Erika Harriman of Texas, nine grandchildren Evin, Benjamin, Joshua, Sarah, Ryan, Kyle, Kayla, Parker, and Braden, her brother, John Springer of Bangor. She will also be remembered by a lifelong friend Earlene Bickford.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1 PM Sat Oct. 24, 2015 at the Clarks Hill Cemetery Stetson. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service Center 34 High St. Newport, Me.
