PITTSFIELD - Roy Clifford Lye, 92, passed away peacefully June 9, 2016. He was born in Pittsburg, PA, a son of William and Edna (Bieler) Lye, Sr.
He was a WW II veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps. He had been a milkman in New York City, NY, Orlando, FL, and Tucson, AZ. Roy retired as a foreman at Burroughs Corporation of Southern California and had been a self-employed citrus rancher.
He is survived by his children Lori Swartz of Pittsfield, William Lye of Apache Junction, AZ, and Michael McKee of Reno, NV; 3 grandchildren Jennifer Brock, Amy Berthelette, and Svetana McKee; 4 great grandchildren Meri, Nason, Heather, and Nik; and 1 great great grandson, Eli.
Roy was predeceased by his first wife, Sally; his 2nd wife, Gladys; a son, Wayne McKee; 2 sisters Mildred Artman and Wilma Price; a brother, William A. Lye, Jr.; and a great grandson, Nolan.
A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, June 14th at Pittsfield Village Cemetery with Chaplain David Gardiner officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at
