AUSTIN - Ross Prescott Vincent, 59, of died at home Sunday, April 20, 2014 after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 30, 1954 in Milo, to parents John and Madolyn Vincent, soon moving to Houlton, where he spent the majority of his childhood and early adult life.
He was a dedicated father and husband, entrepreneur and craftsman who enjoyed many things including animals, photography, fast cars and bourbon. His time was devoted to his kids as well as his endeavors, including the family olive farm in Blanco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Rogers Vincent; children, Kellan Vincent and Aaron John Vincent; daughter-in-law, Rebekah Vincent; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close family friends. The family would also like to thank Dr. Punit Chadha, Hospice Austin and Cat & Joe Yuracka for the special care and love that they gave Ross through his long battle. All of you are amazing.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Ross's life, 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 16th, at Smith Family Chapel, Riverbend Church, 4214 Capital of Texas Highway, in Austin, Texas.
