Rose's Story

BROWNVILLE JCT. AND BOSTON, MA - Rose N. Gennazzi, 96, wife of the late Philip Gennazzi, passed away October 27, 2014, at home with her loving family at her side. She was born July 9, 1918, in Brownville Jct., the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Caparotta) Stevens.

Rose loved her family farm, painting, her Brownville community, and being a member of the Mt. Katahdin Senior Citizens.

Rose is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Powers and her husband, John, of South Dennis, MA, Frances Johnson and her husband, William, of East Sandwich, MA, and Phyllis Mooers and her husband, Daniel, of West Barnstable, MA; 7 grandchildren, Kevin Powers, Kathryn Greenfield, Mary Rocco, William Johnson, Amy Abercrombie, Daniel Mooers, III, and Jennifer Wight; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Edith McGrath.

Friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Private graveside services will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery, in Boston, MA.
