Ronald grew up in Perry. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 18 and fought during the Korean War. He proudly participated in parades and other social public events during Veteran's Day and Fourth of July. Ronald was very proud to have served and contributed to his country and the communities near and far.
Ronald enjoyed cookouts, hunting, fishing and telling stories about his life but above all his greatest enjoyment was spending quality time and making new memories every day with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Family was his whole life, there wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for them. He truly had a heart of gold, was a giver, a compassionate caring, loving soul who would help anyone in any way possible. He was a very strong, brave, courageous man in all aspects. He faced difficulties and health issues with courage and great support from his loved ones. He will be missed and forever loved.
