ST. DAVID - Ronald Bouchard, 90, passed away on April 15, 2016 at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Frenchville on August 26, 1925, son of the late Alex and Catherine (Clavette) Bouchard.
Ron loved fishing and hunting. He took pride in his gardens, always sharing his produce with friends and neighbors. He loved to travel with his wife. He was a communicant of St. David Church, serving on the Parish Council and a lifetime Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2638 of Madawaska.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of sixty seven years, Candide (Bouchard) Bouchard of Madawaska; two daughters, Verna Saucier and her husband Edward of CT, Linda Rossignol and her husband Claude of MA; two sons, Richard Bouchard and his wife Pauline of Fort Kent, Mike Bouchard of CT and his companion Diane Hall of MD; six grandchildren, Tonya, Tracie, Craig, Nathan, Nicole, and Joshua; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Blasig of CT; two brothers, Joel Bouchard and his wife Jeannine of Madawaska and Real Bouchard and his wife Jocelyn of St. David; many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan Bouchard; one sister, Aldea Bouchard; one brother, Eudore Bouchard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the St. David Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences from 10am until 10:45am on Friday at the church before the Service. Spring interment will be held in the Parish cemetery.
