- After fighting a courageous battle with cancer, Roger Lee Frazier went home to be with his lord and savior July 3, 2017 surrounded by family. Roger is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Amy Gordon Frazier of Zolfo Springs, Florida, two sisters, Ruth and Veronica (Ronnie), two daughters Michelle Lawson and Valerie Babcock. Two stepsons, Richard Davis and Michael Davis, three stepdaughters, Dianne Faloon, Barb Allen, and Sandra Davis DePina who faithfully nursed him through his illness. Roger has many grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence and Darrell. He is survived by many loving and loyal cousins.
Roger developed a special friendship with Galen S. Hale who came to help any time that he was needed and watched the games with him. Roger was born in Clinchco, Virginia, to Mary Rasnick Frazier and Robert Lee Frazier on April 9th, 1941.
SP5 Roger Frazier proudly and honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict. Later on he worked for the B&A railroad for 38 years and the last few he was an Engineer. He stayed active for many years with the Masons and was a Shriner. Roger was also a member of the DAV and the American Legion.
Roger developed many friends over the years, both in Florida and in Maine. He especially loved his fellow railroad buddies. He was a wonderful devoted husband to his wife Amy and everybody who knew them sure could see this. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered fondly. Roger's request was to have no service except a prayer on his interment.
