FRENCHVILLE - Roger L. Dumais, 67, died surrounded by his family in Bangor, ME, May 12, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born in Eagle Lake ME. Sept. 27, 1948, the son of Leonard and Jeanne Lagasse Dumais.
He worked at Fraser Paper as a boiler engineer until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Violette and 3 sons, Roger Glenn and his wife Cheryl, Jessie and his wife Cindy and Dwayne; one daughter, Gayle Paula and her husband Dale Roy; 16 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert and his wife Therese of Frenchville and Kevin of Grand Bay, Colorado and 2 sisters, Monique and her husband Ivan Cyr of Southington, CT. and Irma and her husband Clarence Sirois of St. Agatha.
He was predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Owen Roy.
There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday May 21 at 10:00am at the St. Luce Catholic Church of Frenchville with Fr. Kent Ouellette officiating. Burial will be in St. Luce Cemetery in Frenchville, Me. after the funeral.
