Robert's Story

DEXTER - Robert Anthony Williams, born April 28, 1975, of Dexter Maine passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from an undiagnosed heart condition on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

He is survived by his Daughter Aaliyah Williams, Aaliyah's Mother Amerika Stewart and his Son Darius Williams, Darius' Mother Hope Woodard. Robert's Mother Carolyn Peterson and his Father Robert Shannonhouse, his Sisters Terrica Williams and Yolanda Williams, his live in girlfriend Juannita Burtt, and his "acquired" family Robert and Darlene Stewart, Tiswin Campbell, and the rest of the Stewart/McKenney family.

Robert grew up and graduated high school from Fitchburg High, Fitchburg, MA and then later attended the University of Maine, Orono on a football scholarship. He was a very talented athlete and was actually due to be honored at his high school in August of this year with an award for a record he achieved during his high school football career that remains unbroken. Robert was always a hard worker and a great provider for his children and family. He was a wonderful, loving and caring Father. He had a great sense of humor and was always quick to joke around and make people laugh. We were all blessed to have him in our lives, and his smile and loving heart will be greatly and sadly missed by many!

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ripley Methodist Church, 12 W Ripley Road, Ripley ME, on Saturday August 8th at 3 pm.
