- Robert 'Rob' Green, 53, died unexpectedly at his residence in Glenburn on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born in Bangor, Maine, April 13, 1963.
Rob worked at the Old Town papermill since 1986 until its closure in 2015. Rob achieved his CDL license, and then took a job with RH Foster. He also worked at a local landscaping business. Rob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his many adventures on his motorcycle, and loved the outdoors and riding his four-wheeler. He was a devoted father to his daughter Kendra Jo-Marie and son Robbie Jr.
In addition to his parents Samuel J. Green, Sr. and Martha B. Whitmore, he was predeceased by a sister Nancy and brother Richard. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kendra Jo-Marie and son, Robbie Jr. both of Bangor, step children Britney, Amanda and Aaron Foye; one brother Samuel J. Green, Jr. and his wife, Rachel of Old Town, sisters Joanne Garrison of Orono and Marcia Green of Bangor, many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by the love of his life Debbie Caldwell and her sons Ryan and AJ of Glenburn.
In lieu of a funeral the family wishes to celebrate Rob's life at a later date.
