ELLSWORTH - Robert W. Dorr, 68 of Ellsworth, died unexpectedly at home on December 31, 2014. Bob was the owner of Auto Tech of Hancock and has been an auto technician all of his adult life. In addition to his family, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and working with his computers. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Pauline (Bougie) Dorr. He is also survived by a daughter, Suzanne Wood and her husband Gabriel of Ellsworth. He was " Papa" to two grandsons, Oliver and Gibbson Wood, who he endearingly called "Buddy" and "Jack". He was also the father of Wayne Williams of Plymouth, MA, Brian Dorr of Middleboro, MA and Brett Dorr of Limerick, ME. He was the son of the late Merrill C. Dorr and Josephine G. Wilbur. He was the brother of Gerald B. Dorr who predeceased him. He is survived by sisters Sandra Trauterman, June Perkins and husband Wayne C., Merilyn Hopkins and husband Lee and Debra Hollis, all of Middleboro MA. He is also survived by his mother-in law, Fernande Bougie, 2 brothers in-laws and their wives and a sister-in law of Portland, ME. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by special friends Jimmy and Penny Lyons of Trenton, ME.
At his request, there will be no services.
