LINCOLN - Robert Earl Coty, 88, husband of Althea (White) Coty, passed away Jan 22, 2015 at a local healthcare facility. Born Nov. 7, 1926 in Hartford, Conn, he was the son of Elizabeth (Naughton) and Henry Coty. Robert retired from the Wiremold Company in Elmwood, Conn where he was employed for 27 years. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War and served in the Merchant Marines. He had a passion for carving and has many one-of-a-kind carvings of whales, owls, sharks, dogs, signs and picture frames. He carved many canes for friends and family members. Robert loved working outside in his yard. He took pride in its beauty. He also enjoyed camping in Canada by the ocean. He will remain in our hearts forever. In addition to his wife Althea, he is survived by a daughter and son in law Lois and Tim Hardy all of Lincoln, 2 granddaughters, Tia and Ali Hardy.
