Richard's Story

HERMON AND OLD TOWN - Richard Levesque, 48, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2015, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. Richard was born on September 1, 1966, (on U.S. Air Force Base) in Lompoc, California. His parents later settled in Old Town, ME, where Richie was raised.

Richie played football in High School and was a huge sports fan. His favorite team was the New England Patriots. Richie also played the drums in the concert, marching and jazz bands in High School until he graduated in 1984. He attended EMVTI earning two degrees, one in electrical work and one in computer technology. He worked as a computer technician in Massachusetts and Maine before taking a job with US Cellular where he worked for 10 years. Richard was kind hearted and had many friends, some of the best were Jonathan Skaggs, Kyle Severance and Colin Glass. He recently partnered with Severance and Glass to form Mobile Phone Medics, a phone and iPad repair company. When he wasn't watching sports or working, he was playing Angry Birds on his computer. He enjoyed sight-seeing, eating out and shopping with his fiancé.

Richard was predeceased by his father, Wilfred Levesque. He is survived by his mother, Hisa "Mo" Levesque, and his fiancée, Trish Sandstrom.

A graveside service will be held later in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
