- Richard W. Ham, Sr., 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 22, 2016. He was born November 23, 1937, in Cambridg, the son of Stanwood and Arline (Folsom) Ham.
He attended Dexter schools where he lived his whole life raising his family, working, and later owned and operated Ham's Auto Body.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline (Beaupre) Ham; 3 sons, Richard, Jr. and wife, Ellimay, David and wife, Lynn, Scott and wife, Sue; 1 daughter, Virginia and husband, Mike Mullaney; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda and husband, Ted Davis; an aunt, Winifred Bane; a sister-in-law, Irene Croan; a brother-in-law, Alton Crosby; several nieces and nephews.
Dick was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Constance Crosby.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 P. M. Thursday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, with Father Mark Nolette officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
