MADAWASKA - Richard J. Corbin, 71, passed away on December 12, 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born in Grand Isle on November 25, 1944, son of the late Donat and Jeannette (Fournier) Corbin.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Nancy (Chasse) Corbin of Madawaska; One daughter, April Levesque and fiancé Andre Morrow of Grand Isle; one son, Jason Corbin and partner Kenneth Holmes of Concord, MA; four grandchildren, Victoria and her fiancé Lee and J.R. Levesque of Madawaska, Olivia and Eli Holmes of Concord, MA; two great grandchildren, Rhys and Vivian Grivois of Madawaska; five siblings, Hilda Beaulieu and her husband Wilson of Frenchville, Roger Corbin and his wife Judy, Grace Ouellette and her husband Gerald, Jane Carter and her companion Pete Savoie, Mike Corbin and his partner Art all of Madawaska; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Corbin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am (U.S. time) on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 4-8pm on Tuesday, December 15 and from 8:30am until 9:30am on Wednesday before the Service. Spring interment will take place in the St. Thomas Cemetery. A Celebration of life will also be held this summer at Mizpah. A time and date will be announced later this spring.
