Reynold's Story

FORT KENT - Reynold F. Pelletier, 73, past away peacefully surrounded by his family June 5, 2014 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. He was born May 9, 1941 in Fort Kent the son of Fortunate and Exier (Michaud) Pelletier.

Reynold was a member of the Fort Kent Third Degree Knights of Columbus. Being an entrepreneur, He worked as a crane operator for many years, store owner for several years, cleaning business, and Kirby salesman. Reynold loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed music and the outdoors, picking blueberry's and fiddle heads. Reynold's great sense of humor will remembered among many. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rita (Nadeau) Pelletier of Fort Kent. six children; Karen and husband Yvan Dube of Frenchville, Lisa and husband Brian Dubois of Fort Kent, Ricky and wife Peggy Pelletier of Bristol, Ct., Lynn and husband Roger Dube of Frenchville, Donna and husband Wayne Raymond of Presque Isle, April and husband Kevin Deprey of Fort Kent. Ten Grandchildren: Adam Dube, Matthew and Brittany Dubois, Alexandra Dube, Paige and Jacob Pelletier, Zachary and Mason Raymond, Joshua and Emma Deprey. Three Brothers; Irvin Pelletier of Bangor, Milton Pelletier of Bristol Ct., and Earland Pelletier of Madawaska. Two sisters; Iva Levesque of Frenchville and Arlene Pinette of Wallagrass. A special niece, Darlene Martin and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers; Frank and Roland Pelletier, two sisters; Rena Johnson and Nathalie Chasse.

Friends may call 9 to 10:45 a.m. Monday June 9 at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery. Those in who wish in Reynold's memory may donate to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent. Me. 04743.
