Reginald's Story

ST. FRANCIS - Reginald Thibodeau, 91, died March 7, 2016 in St. Francis with his family by his side. Reginald was born March 20, 1924 in St. Francis, the son of William and Fabiene Thibodeau.

He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. His tilted hat and his love of country music will be forever in our memory. He was the cornerstone and a role model to our family. He was a Communicant of St. Charles Parish and a member of the Fort Kent 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus.

He leaves his five daughters, Linda Perkins, Myra (Stanley) Pelletier, Claudette (Gary) Michaud, Amy (Chad) Deprey, all of St. Francis and Jeannine (Owen) Gardner of Lincoln; three sons, Steve Thibodeau of St. Francis, Jimmy and (Corrinna) Thibodeau of Fort Kent, and Rick (Suzanne) Thibodeau of North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Hermence Banville of St. Agatha; 26 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

He was predeceased by his wife, Edna (Harvey) Thibodeau in 2008; his children, James and Jeannine in 1964 and Joel Thibodeau in 1995; and a son-in-law, Dudley Perkins in 2007; 3 brothers; Addis, Eldric, and Valeric Thibodeau; and 3 sisters, Loraine, Maureen, and Rosalie.

Friends may call from Thursday March 10th from 2 to 3:30 PM at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 4 pm Thursday at the St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery.
