Reginald's Story

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA AND GRAND ISLE - At the age of 82, Reggie Cote, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, California, died at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2O14 after a battle with kidney disease.

He was born January 10, 1932 in Grand lsle, Maine, son of the late Josephel and Aldea (Lavertu) Cote.

He attended Husson College in Bangor for 2 years until he was called to serve in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Japan. Upon his return from the U.S. army he pursued his college degree at Husson College and then continued for his Masters degree in Michigan. He made his home in Los Angeles where he worked as an accountant in his own accounting business. He will be remembered as a generous and loving brother and friend. He is survived by one brother, Gilman Cote and his wife Nicole of Long Lake and three sisters, Julie Kucia (Alex) of Burlington, Ct, Lorraine Talbot of Madawaska and Omerine Cote (Harold) of Saint-Jacques, NB Canada. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Lionel and three sisters, Normande Morin, Bernadette Ouellette and Bella lwanicki.

Cremation will take place in Los Angeles and a religious ceremony will be held in the spring in Grand Isle where the burial will take place.
