ST. ALBANS - Raymond Francis Thereau, 65, died July 30, 2015 at his residence following a long illness. He was born December 16, 1949 in Rumford, a son of Francis and Dorothy (McPhee) Thereau.
He graduated from Stevens High School and was employed in the area paper mills and construction until retiring in 2011. Ray loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Ripley United Methodist Church.
Ray is survived by his wife, Edith (Barber) Thereau of St. Albans; 3 sons, Jeffrey of Plainfield, CT, Glen and wife Ann of Moosup, CT, Jason and wife Jennifer of Ripley; a daughter Jennifer and husband Charles Tewksbury of Dayville, CT; 2 brothers, Richard and wife Christine of Roxbury, Gregory and wife Sheryl of Parris, Florida; 5 sisters, Shirley Derouche of Bath, Rose Robbins of Dixfield, Barbara and husband Arthur Simons of Rincon, GA, Sharon and husband Leonard Bolduc of Perry, and Sally Robbins of Carthage; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, August 3rd, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow at Maloon Cemetery, St. Albans.
