Raoul's Story

FORT KENT - Raoul Caron, 77, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2015 at a Bangor Health Care Facility. He was born in Fort Kent on October 21, 1938 the son of Minal and Odile (Pelletier) Caron.

He owned and operated for many years, "Raoul Caron and Son's Farm" where he worked all his life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family loved him from start to end unconditionally. Many who came to know and love Raoul called him "pepere." He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Louella (Laferriere) Caron of Fort Kent. His three children and their spouses, Connie and Mike Malmborg of Fort Kent, Debbie and Carroll Bossie of New Canada, and Dale and Wanda Caron of Fort Kent. His five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Kris and Beth Malmborg,their children; Noah, Ethan, and Preston, Ryan and Jen Malmborg their children; Mallory, Maddox, Lee (Bossie) and Troy Babin and their daughter; Keira, Randy Caron and fiancee Kayla Davenport, and Cody Caron. His daughter-in-law ,Wendy Caron of Fort Kent. He is also survived by Five sisters, Five brothers; and many brothers-and sister's-in-law on both the Caron and Laferriere sides of the family. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Raoul was predeceased by one son Carl Caron, and grandson; Lance Bossie, and by one brother, Roland "Nou" Caron.

Friends may call Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held in the parish cemetery , May 10, 2016.

At the request of the family in lue of flowers, donations may be made in Raoul's memory to a charity of ones choice.
